We had some lovely weather earlier this week, so decided we would walk round the to nearest park. It’s about 1.5 miles away walking by the road (annoyingly shorter across the fields but that’s not practical with the pushchair) so takes about 15 minutes. Great exercise, and means we get to be outside.
This time N didn’t want to walk. I think he’s realised how much more he’ll see, and how much faster it is when he’s in the pushchair.
The park’s great. It’s got loads of wooden climbing frames and obstacles, with a toddler area. Plus it’s in a big field, so great if the kids are older and want to play football.
Of course we went early and most of the slides were still wet. I had meant to remember a muslin so I could wipe them down, but had forgotten that, so we had to pick and choose the slides so those dried by the sun were favourites.
We’ve not been to the park since last summer, so N had a great time clambering on things, wandering up and down the climbing frames and tapping on the wooden boards.

I start my new job on Monday, so not only will activities be limited to weekend, but posts may be fewer.
