  1. I have just moved to Oxford and am keen to sample the local fare. My favourite restaurant is one ‘Nid’s’ on the island of Koh Chang – home-cooked Thai food and the best hospitality in the world, in a bamboo and palmleaf restaurant crammed with incredible curiosities…

  2. Heston Blumenthal’s ‘The Fat Duck’ in Bray. It’s the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten in – not that I’m a regular..I won a free meal in a competition 😉

  3. There’s a restaurant back home in the States called The Blue Canoe. It just reopened after a fire and still has wonderful food.

  4. The Merkister Hotel in Harray, Orkney. Love to eat out a lot but also love cooking good food at home! This would be perfect to add to my cook book collection 🙂

  5. My favourite restaurant is Viva Cuba in Leeds – it serves the most AMAZING tapas at great prices, and is decorated in a fabulous Cuban vibe!

  6. I love the falcon which is just outside of Banbury. Atmosphere and decor is homely and food tastes great

  7. I dont know whether it is still there but it was a little restaurant in the Smuggles inn in Selsey Bill
