Living Arrows 2017 week 47- cheeky tricking

This week’s living arrows shot was taken at the Black Country Living Museum which we visited last week.  N had got a bit bored and was trying to block me from going into another building. This time the church. We had a bit of fun with me trying to get past, which of course I eventually did.

Nice shots of him are now few and far between, so when I get photos with the right light and a great smile, then it’s definitely a special one.

  1. I love this photo of N, its a beautiful shot and you can really see his character, definitely one to frame! I can imagine James & Lily doing the same thing, and its lovely that you both made some fun out of it, the ‘in the moment’ photos are my absolute favourites xx

    1. A lot of the time he gets bored when it’s just him. There’s no playground which is one thing that’s missing for younger children. But there’s lots of places to explore. I think once they’re starting to get interested in history, that’s when it’s more interesting – he was certainly interested in hearing the stories of real people who lived there. If they like going into all the different houses and shops then there’s plenty to keep them entertained. N doesn’t want to go into every one, so that obviously cuts short a visit

  2. Getting a smile or a good photo is a nightmare sometimes isn’t it, you have to take them where you can. When I ask Jake to smile he always pulls a funny face. It sounds like you had fun x #LivingArrows

    1. That’s true. And annoyingly, the not wanting photos or pulling faces phase seems to go on for a long time. I don’t know why I’m surprised because I hated having my photo taken as a child too
