My Sunday Photo – frosty dappled leaves

One of the best things about autumn is the colours.  This week saw the first frost of the year here (I’m glad I have a heated windscreen in my car). These leaves were in the car park near work…bizarrely there’s no sycamore trees there, or nearby, so I’ve no idea how far these ones had to blow to get there.

  1. Fantastic crisp autumnal photo. Just perfect…I can almost hear their crisp crackle as I imagine walking over them. I missed autumn so much when I lived in the Middle East and tropics. I now treasure all the variations and changed in the seasons. Thanks for sharing 😀

  2. Leaves are definitely the best thing about autumn! I was laughing at my husband the other day, sweeping a load of leaves out of the bottom of the windscreen/ top of the bonnet while his car was at work. So his work car park would end up with a load of leaves that didn’t come from nearby trees! But that would have had to be a serious lot of leaves on a car there!

  3. I agree – the colours of the leaves are one of the best things about this time of year. Did you ever work out where these ones came from, though?
