Project 365 2017 week 49

It’s week 49 (yep, only 2 weeks today til week 52!).  As per usual the year has rushed on by.  Here’s this week’s Project 365.

On Sunday I played around with festive flatlays and photo props.  One of my worst habits (apart from biting my fingernails and like to eat some real junk-y food) is courses.  Yes, I have a tendency to start courses but never finish the. Usually because I get left behind really quickly.  This week I’ve been doing a Makelight Festive advent challenge.  This flatlay was showing some of my festive props.  I don’t usually do flatlays, but I used to make a lot of cards, so I think I’ve learnt quite a lot from doing that previously.

On Monday it was a work day and not much happened. I was stuck for photos, but ended up editing some of my flower photography course photos. I think I’ll chop these ones right back when I’ve finished with the flowers and use them for props.

This week before school N has asked for the ipod on rather than watching lots of tv. So he was grooving to something here on Tuesday.

This week has also been about playing games. On Wednesday it was Game of Life junior.

On Thursday it was time for a bit of artwork.  A bit of a scary dog…with a boys head!

On Friday we had snow. It was weird because we had a fair amount on the car and things around the farm. But I got to work and it had only a touch, and in the work car park I was the only person with snow still on my car.  It was all gone by later apart from on grass, and we had a repeat fall in the late afternoon too.

On Saturday there was no more snow, but what was left looked beautiful in the sun. This was taken overlooking the school playing fields at N’s swimming lessons.

  1. Love that photo of the snowy road! It almost looks like its in black and white. N’s dog with the boy’s head made me laugh.

  2. I’m loving everyones snow pics at the moment. The flat lay looks lovely, it’s not something i’ve ever tried properly. The scary boy/dog looks fun

  3. I’m liking the flatlay work. I took one for one of my Christmas guides that the company asked if they could use it on their website which was a bit of a boost. Yours are very pretty.
