During half term we went out to Birmingham for the day. It wasn’t as successful a day as I’d planned (damn that rain! More on the story to come another day), but I did agree to go on the train which N loves but rarely gets to do.
We ended up not far from Snow Hill station, and arrived having just missed a train back to Banbury. N promptly plonked himself down and decided we’d be waiting there (for an hour) until the next train. Not quite what I had planned, but it was just a really sweet photo of him waiting patiently with his soft toy – a Jelly Cat dog (in fact, the same one that Prince George has, although we had ours first!).
N insisted on bringing a toy out with him which I wasn’t too keen on, but he looked after it all day. In the rain, mostly it spent the day zipped up inside N’s coat like a baby in a sling.

Ah that is sweet! S carries toys round like that. Hope you didn’t have to wait an hour!

Thankfully no. Managed to persuade him to walk to Moor Street to catch an earlier train!
Kids just love trains. What a lovely photo, love the little teddy poking out #livingarrows
N loves riding on trains (and buses). It’s just such a treat for him
