N had numerous strange things that he’s taken ownership of over the years. This compact mirror from a cracker has been floating around the kitchen for a while, and the other day he was playing around with it. He spotted I had the camera out and wanted to see if I could get a photo of me reflected in the mirror.
It was a bit blurry, but I was more excited to see outdoors through the window reflected in his eye.
It’s the little things that make us happy!

Cool photo! #LivingArrows
Oh a great shot – I love close up pictures! My son is always finding knick knacks too – he just likes to collect things and hoard them away! It’s very sweet, but I do often find random little piles of stones and things everywhere! x #LivingArrows
I know that pain of things being dumped places. Then when I try and throw them out he moans
This is a cool photo. What is it about kids and things from crackers though – Toby has loads of random stuff out of crackers! #LivingArrows
Ah, and they get left all over the place.
Oh this is just lovely, it’s so amazing to see things through their eyes isn’t it? Great capture #LivingArrows
I love those little things too! What a great way to hook him into having his photo taken – so lovely that he basically set up and directed the shot for you! #livingarrows
I love how he is taking more and more of an interest in photography. He is growing up into such a well rounded little boy! Love the reflection too x
Haha, it is so funny the things they are drawn to! One of my daughters favourite toys at the moment is a set of old door keys that my mum gave her when she was a toddler! x #LivingArrows
Ah that’s a cute one. Alice gets fascinated with the weirdest things, a compact mirror would be right up her street. #LivingArrows
Isn’t it funny the small things that children get attached to. We have so many little things dotted about the house that I’m under strict instruction not to throw away. #LivingArrows
