We had an inset day before half term, and with the weather being beautiful I’d decided that we should go and check out Bosworth Water Park complete with inland beach. Not only was there a small lake for paddling but there was a great pirate playground. N loved it, and I managed to grab this photo of him just as he stopped to say ‘no photos’.
The tunnel reflection looks a bit like rippling water. Â Nothing like the sandy murky water in the lake.

Ooh a pirate themed playground sounds fantastic – my son would love that. Great tunnel picture! x #LivingArrows
It was a lovely playground, enough for older and younger kids
What a fab capture – I dread the day Toby decides he doesn’t want his photo taken any more, although we already have times when he’s not exactly cooperative! #LivingArrows
It’s been going on a while here. with no sign of abating yet.
Monkey loves these tunnels and they are great opportunity for photos. Unfortunately we are also getting into the no photos stage! I hope it doesn’t last long! X #LivingArrows
It’s very annoying. We’ve had the stage for about 2 years now. I get the occasion ok, but then he’ll move before I’ve got it set up to take it!
You cannot beat a water park…at almost 30 they are still one of my favourite things! #LivingArrows x
I’m with you. There’s so much to do at them
Looks like a fab playground, I love spending time at ours and letting them roam fres
So nice when you find some really nice local playgrounds isn’t it. Nice to mix it up.
Oh bless him – ‘no photos’ isn’t something said very often here but quite often ‘mummy can I take a photo of you’ is said (which fills me with dread) x #Living Arrows
Lol, N likes taking photos too – usually trying to use my good camera!
That tunnel looks amazing! I love it when a play park has things that are a bit different x
They are great, most parks we go to we rarely see the same equipment. Nice to have that variety
Love it! I get some of my best photos of the girls at the playground when they are completely absorbed in what they are doing and not paying attention to me!
N seems to be wise to the camera all the time, but I need to get my zoom out really then I can hide away a bit more.
It is yes, missing it already although I’m not really a hot weather fan!
We’re going through the no photo stage at the moment too. Well one day we are and then the next she’s posing everywhere and demanding photos! This looks like a lovely place for a day out.#livingarrows
Lol, they’re so fickle aren’t they!
It sounds like N had a great time, it gets so tricky once they don’t want their photo taken doesn’t it. Enjoy the half term break. #LivingArrows
Definitely. I need to start using my zoom lens more to be less obvious!
Gorgeous! The playground is such a great spot for interesting photos, but I definitely find it brings out the ‘no photo’ phrase more than anywhere else!
I need to change my lens more frequently to a zoom one, then I can hide away a bit more!
