We’ve not done much over the last few weekends – well, apart from Feast at Waddesdon but I didn’t take many photos because it was just too hot and N wasn’t keen.

But there’s been quite a few evenings spent in the garden due to the heat. There’s been lots of bubble fun and paddling pool water silliness.

This Living Arrows shot was taken when N was checking out the bubble machine and before he got wet.  He’s nearly 6 1/2 years old, but he’s all of a sudden looking so much more grown up with only 4 weeks to go of year 1.

Living Arrows week 26 - outdoor play

  1. He definitely looks more grown up now – and getting to the end of Year 1, that’s quite a milestone. Sounds like you’ve been having lots of fun in the garden too – a paddling pool and bubbles is all you need really isn’t it? #LivingArrows

  2. It’s so funny how N and Athena are in the same school year and yet she’s still 2 months away from her 6th Birthday! x

  3. I can’t believe we’re nearly at the end of year one! I’m not ready for my son to be in year two, he still seems so young! N does seem so grown up in this photo though! x #LivingArrows

    • It’s gone so quickly hasn’t it. I’m quite relieved N will be moving up – this year’s been frustrating with a few of them being split from the rest of their peers. But he’s achieved so much compared to where he was last year

  4. You’re right – I swear he’s got a lot older in just the last month, he’s looking so grown up now! Although no-one is ever too grown up to enjoy a water fight!

    • Definitely not. The cousins he was having a water fight with are 11 and 13, and they were the ones literally sitting in the paddling pool!

  5. Your son definitely looks older than he is maybe it’s the tshirt :hair cut. #livingarrows
