Beautiful. I picked up a couple today on walkies that the squirrels hadn’t nibbled 🙂

  2. Awww I still cant believe that it is autumn already but the weather is making sure that I know that it is indeed. My skin is drying up haha!

This is such a lovely photo. So clear and crisp! #mysundayphoto

    • Thanks Merlinda. I know what you mean – time to get the socks on again and get the slippers out.

  3. Aw what a beautiful photo, they are shiny. We love conkers too. Xx

Love this picture. The texture and focus is fantastic. Our conkers are a week off being ready yet!

    • Ours took a while, there’s still a few on the tree. But weirdly, all the other trees I see nearby, seem to have already lost theirs.

  5. Love collecting conkers, I find it really therapeutic and I love the sharp smell of them. Our local pub has a conker championships 🙂

    • tbh, I’m more obsessed than N! He’s not discover the joy of playing conkers yet!

    • Me too, although they do go dull really quickly. One’s already gone through the wash.

  6. I hope you are going to make them into something fun? They look beautiful and freshly collected.

    • Well, N’s swiped them all, so I’m not sure. Will have to have a think. But given the size of the spiders we’ve had this year, I think I shall be putting them in a few rooms in the house

  7. Ah, conkers! We’ve been collecting them over the past couple of weekends too. 🙂

    • We’ve exhausted all the ones on our tree I think. Time to find some more elsewhere
