walking the high ropes

Project 52 2018 week 43 – high ropes

Half term week, and week 43 of Project 52, has provided a mix of work for me (3 days), time on the farm for N, and a couple of days out and about. The weather until Saturday, was wonderful, so it’s been pretty good.

We’ve discovered a new country park with a great playground and high wire course which unfortunately N couldn’t get on while we were there. It’s a bit of a trek for a party, but might be an option for birthdays in future.

It seems N is now a fan of high ropes courses, after we went to Woburn Safari Park and he had a go on the Jungle Tops ropes couse. No stressing about unclipping and movin the carabiner as you just swung it round with you. He loved it. And now is on the look out for more wherever we visit.

  1. I have to say I was a bit surprised. I thought he would have chickened out. He wasn’t impressed with the obnoxious child behind him who was really fast then would stand on the platforms chatting away showing off to his younger sisters following, and wobbling the line N was attached to

  2. Now you see I want to have a go at those high ropes. Great perspective in that image Emma. Makes it look like N is very high up indeed. #mysundayphoto

  3. Hi Emma, it sounds as if you had a nicely balanced week. I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to walk across that bridge, no matter how clipped in I was, so good on N!
