rallye monte carlo historique cars in Banbury

Project 52 2018 week 5 – Rallye Monte Carlo Historique

This week I was surprised to find the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique in town for the day.  I had a wander round at lunch time. Considering I’d not seen any advertising for it before the day, and that it was a weekday and raining, it was quite busy.  I didn’t get to see the cars driving round, but it was still nice to spot different ones, including Colin McRae’s winning Subaru.

  1. I love the look of old vintage cars they are so much cooler than modern cars.

  2. lovely to get to see so many interesting cars all together in a line. I love the shiny hubcaps on these and they make for great reflective pictures if there is anything interested to see near them.

  3. Our kids loved going to these events in our local town when they were small, full circle and they’re off visiting places like this again as adults now

  4. They don’t make them like they used to! Gorgeous vintage cars #mysundayphoto

  5. Oh wow how lovely, shame about the weather though! It must have been such a great sight, all those old cars

  6. What a fantastic sight! I’m not a big car fan, but I would definitely have stopped to take a look.

  7. I am so not into cars, and most likely wouldn’t have noticed anything different, if I happened to be walking there. 🙂 Is that in Banbury?
