Project 52 2018 week 5 – Rallye Monte Carlo Historique
This week I was surprised to find the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique in town for the day. I had a wander round at lunch time. Considering I’d not seen any advertising for it before the day, and that it was a weekday and raining, it was quite busy. I didn’t get to see the cars driving round, but it was still nice to spot different ones, including Colin McRae’s winning Subaru.

I love the look of old vintage cars they are so much cooler than modern cars.
Cars have definitely changed so much! Now they are just more complicated!
More to go wrong on them too!
My son would love this – he’s so into cars at the moment! #365
I think mine would have moaned a bit. He prefers tractors to cars
I’m so gutted I forgot this was happening #365
lovely to get to see so many interesting cars all together in a line. I love the shiny hubcaps on these and they make for great reflective pictures if there is anything interested to see near them.
This is right up my street, we are a car loving family so would have happily spent the day looking around. #MySundayPhoto
Our kids loved going to these events in our local town when they were small, full circle and they’re off visiting places like this again as adults now
They don’t make them like they used to! Gorgeous vintage cars #mysundayphoto
Wow the cars all look so stunning. Weird it wasn’t advertised but I would have loved taking lots of photos of them!
What a fantastic sight….How interesting. I do like old cars x
Oh wow how lovely, shame about the weather though! It must have been such a great sight, all those old cars
How cars have changed. They certainly had more charactor back then.
xx
Oh wow, what an amazing array of cars, I love vintage vehicles.
It must have been great to see so many historic cars. We stumbled across something similar on holiday in Austria once and it was really fun.
It’s quite nice when you stumble across things like this unexpectedly. I quite like looking at vintage cars.
What a fantastic sight! I’m not a big car fan, but I would definitely have stopped to take a look.
Thats fab, my hubby loves seeing events like that. #365
I am so not into cars, and most likely wouldn’t have noticed anything different, if I happened to be walking there. 🙂 Is that in Banbury?
