I love Christmas tree light photos, and working through Emma Davies’ A Year With my Camera for this week meant trying out different shaped bokeh photography. Of course, N refused to be in my photos – he wouldn’t sit still anyway which didn’t help. So one of his bears helped out.
I tried hearts and stars, although my free form stars weren’t great. I still like this photo – and it’s something to work on next year…maybe try and work out if I kept hold of any of my little craft stamps as they’d be great for this purpose.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and I’ll see you on the other side.

I think that it looks totally beautiful – the lights look like little butterflies x

Have noticed some Bokeh lights on other photos but love the fact that you have a ‘subject’ in the foreground, makes the lights stand out more. Great photo. Hope you had a great Christmas and all the best for the festive season!
It’s a lovely photo and a great effect too, what a beautiful tree that is. Happy Boxing Day from Coombe Mill #MysundayPhoto
