Last weekend we went to the Caravanning and camping show, and were blown away by some of the tents. This bubble one caught my eye.  It’s used for star gazing and I have to say that while I’m not sure about sitting in a bubble tent and being observed by everyone wandering past. it’s got a great view of the sky.

Have you ever come across more unusual tents?

  1. What a great idea! I love this. I saw one before used for a photobooth for Santa 🙂 great stuff.

I would love for you to link up to #SilentSunday x

  2. That would be good if they could do it something so you can see out but nobody could see in!

I’m not a tent person though! Prefer my warmth and creature comforts

  3. Wow that looks amazing. I have seen a similar one that you can stay in the Sahara desert and watch the stars, also very amazing!

It looks amazing and I would love to have a star gaze from there, but I’m not sure I could be persuaded to sleep in it, nobody needs to see that ha! It is a great picture and sounds like a cool show xx

  5. What a cool tent but I’m not sure I’d like to sleep in it!

  6. Oh that is fabulous! I’d love to be inside a giant bubble and observe the stars! With the tunnel you could add on your sleeping quarters, sleep all day and star gaze all night!
Unusual tents…well, we had a walking one once! A huge frame tent that we were using on a family holiday when I was a child. The first night it didn’t stop raining and we woke up in a bog, so rather than take the huge tent apart again ,(assembly took hours) we all got inside, grabbed a pole and walked it across the camp site!

  7. That looks brilliant, we went to a show like this and some of the things were amazing

    Thank you for linking up

  8. An imperfect mum (Catie)

From the thumbnail I thought it was a snow globe. Love it!!! What a fab idea and as a football mum I can see the benefits on a rainy and windy day too.

  9. Not sure about star gazing, more like people watching but watching you on the inside!
Reminds me of something out of ‘The Trueman Show’, remember that film?! I love invention and innovation, not sure about this one tho!

  10. It does look rather like one would be sitting in a giant goldfish bowl! I think I’ll stick to hotels … 🙂
