Wasgij Mystery 9 Great Train Robbery!
I’ve completed the final Wasgij in my current pile of puzzles. I’ve got a stash of other puzzles still to complete, but I just don’t have the time at the moment. I’ll probably stick with waiting til cooler weather comes back again. This latest puzzle was an old second hand one, Wasgij Mystery Great Train Robbery!

This puzzle has hints of Agatha Christie’s Poirot in the image which was fun to see alongside the other characters. As with the rest of the Wasgij Mystery range, from the box image you need to think about what happens next to find the solution.
This isn’t too hard a Wasgij puzzle although it did take me a lot of stopping and starting to get through it. But certainly not as hard as some of them I’ve done. I did somehow end up doing the puzzle upside down, and only realised once I was about half way through, so that was amusing trying to finish it by turning my portapuzzle the other way round and the cover hanging off the table.
If you’re looking for the solution then do scroll down the page for the finished image of Great Train Robbery! and a video. My guide on how to complete a Wasgij without the solution is a useful aid if you want to complete them without looking ahead.
If you’re new to puzzles and not sure where to complete yours, I’d recommend a Portapuzzle*. These are great for keeping puzzles in progress flat, and for completing little parts and setting out pieces. Thin enough to put under a sofa when not being used.
