The toddler, he says ‘no’
It seems N’s favourite word is still ‘no’.
Wonder if he takes after me, as I do seem to have to warn him off things fairly frequently now he’s trying to turn on dangerous things, like the oven, or running around where there might be cars and not holding my hand.
It is really hard to think of different ways to say ‘no’ to him. I try to explain why he shouldn’t do something using words he knows. So with the oven, it’s all about how it’s hot, and it’ll hurt, so we need to leave it off.
Thankfully we do occasionally get ‘yes’ from him, although it’s usually more mumble than anything clearer. Otherwise, he just goes jabbering off in his own way, half of which I have no idea what he’s talking about.
