Keep dancing with Wasgij Original 30 – Strictly Can’t Dance
This autumn is definitely the autumn of Wasgij puzzles for me this year. I’ve been flying through them, with most completed in a week. Not bad considering it’s just a few hours on the weekends and a bit in the evenings. They’re a good challenge because you never know immediately how they’re going to look. So you need to think and work out what could go where and what the image will look like when completed.
As soon as I spotted the Wasgij Original 30 – Strictly Can’t Dance, I knew that would be one I had to get. I bought it online – usually I buy in store, although I really should try the local charity shops more frequently as they have lots of jigsaws in, I’ve just never seen any wasgij puzzles.
If you’re a dance fan, then this Wasgij puzzle is one for you.
One from the original range, you need to work out the view from one of the characters on the box image. With the box image showing four ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judges – look out for the Wasgij version of Shirley, Darcy, Craig and Bruno – and dancers on the floor, you need to work out what the judges are looking at.
With dancers, musicians and a lot of ornate costumes, there’s lots going on in this jigsaw puzzle and it’s a pretty good one to start out with if you’ve not done a Wasgij before. Quite often with puzzles, I find that somewhere in the edges I’ve got 2 pieces mixed up and have to redo it as I’m already a long way through, but with this one, it was right first time.
There are a few clues on the box as usual with Wasgij puzzles, but I didn’t use these. I did sneak a peek at a solution online where I needed to check which side one of my clusters of puzzle should sit, but otherwise this was a relatively simpler Wasgij compared to some.
