Get healthy with V8 Juice – giveaway

I’ve been saying for ages I need to get more healthy and lose some weight, and by getting more fruit and veg into me has to help.  I do love a fruit juice in a morning with my breakfast, and as a non-tea or coffee drinker, it’s my alternative to a wake up drink in the morning.

I’ve also started using veg in my juices more – I have to be careful not to include too much leafy greens as I’m on warfarin, but they’re definitely an acquired taste.  My Nutribullet is my friend.

N’s also partial to a juice, heavily watered down if I get to the fridge and carton before him.  If you’ve got fussy children who won’t eat fruit or veg, then a small drink of juice a day is going to help them with some vitamin intake.

V8 Fusions juices are a great way to get those veg in, with some interesting combinations of 50% fruit and 50% vegetable (250ml is 2 of your five a day).  How about Raspberry and Beetroot, or Passion Fruit, Mango and Carrot?  Not flavours I’ve ever seen elsewhere.

I would usually try a pure vegetable juice, but combined with fruit, it just takes the veggie taste of the juice and sweetens it.  It’s nice to try something different

  52. I’m not very adventurous with juices, but carrot and orange is nice, and I really love apple and elderflower. Would like to try the one with beetroot.
