I’ve been writing about N’s school days since he started, and even more he was at school I’d written my thoughts and experiences of what might be coming up. And I’ve been debating for several months whether to start a school days linky. Lots of bloggers mention issues or successes of their children’s school days, so the linky has been born.
I’m keeping it as an informal weekly linky at the moment, but if there’s more interest and enough people linking up I can shout about it a bit more.
I’m hoping that the School Days linky can bring together different types of school posts:
- Updates on progress and shout out and be proud posts
- Discussions on education
- Starting or finishing school
- Resources on easing children through their school days.
- School run stories
In fact, anything that has a theme of school. There’s plenty of home schooling linkys, but nothing bringing together school and the learnings we can take from it as our children start, progress and end their school journey.
The linky will go live every Sunday by 6pm, and will be open until the following Saturday so plenty of time to link up.
I’d love to have a huge set of rules, but I’ll stick with linky etiquette guidance:
Link up posts that have a school days theme to them. It could be what’s been going on that week or month, a specific school performance or achievement, hints and tips about schools or even a rant about education.
It’s nice to link back or add the badge to your post(s). It helps raise the profile of the linky and therefore you should get more views.
Please visit and comment on a couple of other posts linked up. Then everyone gets something from linking up.
I’d love you to share the linky too. Every share helps it to be seen and to encourage other bloggers to link up. I’ll read, comment on and share every post over the month.
