I’ve been on a bit of a puzzle spending spree over the last month or so. I’ve managed to get hold of a couple of second hand Wasgij puzzles from charity shops, as well as finding a couple on sale. So I’ve got a stash to work my way though. The most recent was an older puzzle, the Wasgij Mystery 14 – House of the Wasgij Ville.
This puzzle is quite a dark one, based on the theme of Sherlock Holmes and Hounds of the Baskerville. You need to work out what happens next after the image on the box, and there’s always a few comedy moments in the Wasgij jigsaw images.
With several larger than life characters, plus policemen to create, there’s some fun outfits to solve and comedy faces. As well as the surprise about who’s been stealing the jewels. There are also a lot of rocks and background which can be a bit challenging.
As with most of the mystery range of puzzles, it’s not that hard getting going and finding where the images inside the edges go. The characters you can place later once you’ve got them filled.
As with all Wasgij puzzles, once you have your eye in, they get easier and faster to solve.
Here’s the solution below.
