Point and Shoot – tourist trails
This weekend was the final blast of our week off, so back to nursery and work today. N told me he couldn’t go back to nursery because ‘I’ve got lots of jobs to do’. Presumably on the farm, although this time of year isn’t really possible for him to be going off with his dad as it’s all harvest and boring, going up and down fields.
The weekend started on Friday with our long awaited trip to London to see The Tiger who Came to Tea. More on that soon (I have a backlog of posts I want to write). We had a lovely day, and we managed to get some lovely photos of N with his friend.
Saturday was a bit of a lazy day. I was hoping to catch up on some sleep but that didn’t really happen. N spent some time out on the farm, but not as long as I’d expected, so no time to dye my hair, sleep or do lots of blogging catch up. I didn’t take many photos at all, even though N spent some time playing in the garden with his cousin.
I’d decided on Sunday that we’d go to Bourton-on-the-Water for a wander round, and to check out the Cotswold Motoring Museum. As I had CSMA membership thanks to the #NewThings project, we got some money off entrance. Of course after you’ve had a day out, ice creams (or lollies in N’s case) are essential.
Aww bless he looks like he is really enjoying that Ribera lolly
It’s a real treat, but he does make a mess!
Looks like a lovely end to your holiday. Do love Bourton on the Water
It’s a lovely place isn’t it, especially when it’s a sunny day
