Wasgij Mystery 8 Retro The Final Hurdle solution
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Wasgij puzzle, actually any puzzle, so Wasgij Mystery 8 The Final Hurdle was harder than I’d anticipated.

This puzzle was one of the Wasgij Mystery Retro range. Instead of doing the box image, you have to imagine what happens next after the image on the box. Being part of the retro range, it has slight tweaks on the previous version of this puzzle.
The setting is one of London’s bridges with a race taking place over it. But what happens next, what carnage happens to the athletes, organisers and bridge itself.
As I mentioned, I found this puzzle fairly difficult. It took me quite a few sessions to work out the bridge, and then the final section of people – which just seemed to blur into one another. I always say the older Wasgij puzzles are harder to do than the more recent ones, and given this is based on an older puzzle, that rings true.
